The world’s most recognizable extreme sports gala will be held June 5^th - 8^th as the X Games comes to Austin, Texas in the USA. All of the most exciting events including skateboarding, bmx, moto x, Ford rally cross and Stadium Super Trucks will be on hand.

In addition to the games there will also be over 30 bands performing throughout the festivities including The Flaming Lips and legendary punk rockers Bad Religion. There will also be a battle of the bands competition.

“Come for the games, stay for the party” seems to be the theme of the X Games, and there is no shortage of things to do besides watching the extreme action. Those who will be there in person in Austin, will have the opportunity to take part in everything from the X Games museum and bungee jumping to the fashion stage and the gaming shack, not to mention mechanical bull riding and the obstacle course!
