Described as “Canada’s Hottest Beach Festival”, the Center of Gravity Festival, now in its 7^th year, attracts thousands of enthusiasts looking for the best in extreme sports, world class demos and competitions, beautiful beach bodies and the hottest music.

Some of the most popular attractions include skateboarders and BMXers pounding the ramps and stunt riders jumping hundreds of feet into the air. On the beach you can watch riders shredding waves, catch the beach volleyball tournament, chill in one of the cabanas or take in the Miss Center of Gravity bikini contest.

This year the sporting events are divided into six groups:

Beach Volleyball

Hoop Zone (four on four basketball tournament + dunk competition)

Water Zone (wake jam, trick competition)

Dirt Zone (freestyle mountain bike competition, trick competition, FMX)

Urban Zone (skateboarding, BMX)

Grass Volleyball (mixed 3’s, mixed 4’s, reverse doubles)

Top musical acts scheduled include Grammy Award winning Calvin Harris, breakout rap sensation J. Cole, Chromeo, Tegan and Sara, Adventure Club, Shreddy Krueger and more playing on three different stages over the course of the three day extravaganza.
